TV Series

Making a Murderer part 2 is some of the most boring telly I've seen in ages. Swerve it, the fella is guilty and he ain't getting out.

Netflix are getting a bit silly now. Not reporting a lot of the evidence in 'The Staircase' now dragging this case out givng another weird, eccentric lawyer more air time . Putting me off watching any future crime docs.

Does anyone watch Mrs. Who?

I thought it was a kids show. Why do they put it on BBC One Sunday night prime time? Never been in to it myself, although the woman who plays Mrs. Who is quite a looker ;) I bet her Tardis is full of shoes and ASOS deliveries.

Haunting of House Hill is just great

We finished it now. 7/10

The whole series is very well thought out and put together tho' a lot of scenes did feel quite stagey. There's a dollop of standard scares, poor CGI and cliched emotional 'human' moments, but the slow burn of the story was engaging, the atmosphere & tension were well done, the actors were good, the sparse use of music welcome, and props to the camera work too.

Highlight: Episode 6's impressive long take scenes.
Lowlight: The ending was somewhat cheese.

Recommended for fans of slow involving family dramas with haunted house as blunt metaphor.

Not recommended if you want more focus on the supernatural than on family drama.
