As one of the initial supporters of Gomorrah

I have to say McMafia is excellent. The level and quality of plot as well as acting from all is superb.

For those commenting that some (including Alex Godman) are rather wooden...I've met with a fair few people in his line of work and most of them are just as cold and calculating as him...a fabulous portrayal.

Very much hoping that there will be a season 2....anyone know?

Do all meetings end with that really cheesy last shot too? Glad it's over. Predictable dross.

I watched six episodes of series 2 yesterday.

Everything that`s been said about it on here, is warranted and more.

What I really like about it, is that it doesn`t try to portray any of them, including the women, as anything other than they are - murderous scum.

Also for all the money that they have, all their apartments are a total mess, over the top furnishings, gold, marble everywhere, statues of Christ and the disgusting, tacky family portraits.

It`s up there with the best ever.

It's really weird that, as you say it shows what they are but, you can still feel an attachment to a character(s)?

Finished rewatching both series' of Romanzo Criminale, brilliant stuff.

2 episodes in and good so far having just binge watched all 3 seasons of Gomorrah.

Yes, they are all a bit mental like but, without giving away spoilers, I found myself choosing a side (the sides change though as do the allegiances).
