Season 4 is confirmed. This season was all about introducing Blue Blood and his crew.

A bigger waste of money than The Get Down or Sense 8 which also cost a bomb and show that money doesn't guarantee a good show.


I can't understand the decision behind making Altered Carbon. Spend millions upon millions creating this new sci-fi world to support a slowly paced noir murder mystery story.

I just wasn't arsed about anything that was going on. I found the AI hotel amusing but the rest of it was nothing special or even remotely interesting to me or the missus. This is going to go down as a flop.

I started watching Altered Carbon this week garbage. Britannia was crap too.

The Punisher

It took me a long time to watch through this series. And that's not because it's a poor series by any means, but because I was so burnt out on the Marvel Netflix stuff after Iron Fist and Defenders that I struggled to find motivation to continue watching it. However this turned out to be maybe my favorite of the lot. Great characters, awesome action and crunching violence. Superb. 9/10

The third season of The Leftovers is amazing. Up there with the third season of Twin Peaks for really blurring the cinema/TV line.

It was really good, still gutted there wasn't another season.

I only gave Gomorrah a try because a number of people on here said it was good (not normally my type of show).
So glad I did and I binge watched the 3 seasons.

I have to say McMafia is excellent. The level and quality of plot as well as acting from all is superb.

For those commenting that some (including Alex Godman) are rather wooden...I've met with a fair few people in his line of work and most of them are just as cold and calculating as him...a fabulous portrayal.

Very much hoping that there will be a season 2....anyone know?

So glad I did and I binge watched the 3 seasons.
Excellent!

I watched six episodes of series 2 yesterday.

Everything that`s been said about it on here, is warranted and more.

What I really like about it, is that it doesn`t try to portray any of them, including the women, as anything other than they are - murderous scum.

Also for all the money that they have, all their apartments are a total mess, over the top furnishings, gold, marble everywhere, statues of Christ and the disgusting, tacky family portraits.

It`s up there with the best ever.

After watching a few more series I'm tending to agree with you about Altered Carbon. Plot line so slow, can't make up its mind if its some kind of comedy, enlightening sci-fi paradox or action adventure. Will watch it to the end though.

Have started watching Damnation on Netflix in the meantime. If anyone liked Godless you should like this one.
