Yeah - I particularly enjoyed the shout that there was a conspiracy to keep them up in the immediate aftermath of VAR overturning their penalty yesterday.

The theory has weight when talking about clubs like United, Liverpool and Chelsea. Not Spurs though. Spurs contribute nish to any “brand” anywhere. The PL’s focus will fully be on maximising the title race drama rather than anything these cabbages are doing at the other end of the table.

Spurs would essentially be like Newcastle on steroids in the Championship, they would piss it. I like to mock the Beyonce money and the day tripper NFL Tarquins but make no mistake that money actually would blow every Championship team out of the water. They’re not in anything like the same position as Leeds, Sheff Wed and Forest.
