Tosun talks Blues struggles

No idea why we'd spend this kind of money on a player in a midseason window if they aren't ready to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

That's the whole point of a midseason window FFS!
Generally speaking mate, you are not wrong: but this is Everton, and we do things different.

He is supposed to be an excellent finisher in training, but has appeared barely arsed to get fit and ready or prepare properly. This was doing the rounds before it was annouced he had been dropped to the bench for the Leicester game.
Weird that he has this attitude apparently yet he was marketed as having a fantastic attitude? Good to know he is an excellent finisher so maybe once he has settled in the country he can start to perform.

I fear that if new players don't come in and hit the ground running, then they are normally trash.

if the manager is saying they need time to get up to speed and bed in etc etc etc it is NEVER a good sign, like ever.

I'm not expecting to see much of this lad barring injuries this season. will probably be sold in the summer with management saying he failed to settle.

basically its another panic buy that hasn't or wont work out.

Niasse is keeping him out of the team for heavens sake. that alone tells us everything we need to know.

plus we were all set to offload Niasse and then decided to keep him late on in window... wonder why?!

I'll tell you one thing in this lad's favour, all the Turks love him. Defending him n the press, coming on here, following his progress. he must have something to inspire this sort of loyalty

it would be quite easy to battle and fight in the Turkish league tho as its akin to league 2 over here.

our old Kone is one of the top scorers in the Turkish league.

would of been much better off paying thro the nose and buying a striker from another premier league team, I dunno say, callum Wilson.. would probly cost £40m, which is way over the top really, but he would come in and actually score the goals.

better than paying £27m on someone who isn't up to speed and probably never will be.

Niasse was never for sale? And If a player doesn't hit the ground running, especially when they come from another league, it doesn't mean they wont turn out good. Look at Martial, didn't play too well to begin with but is now a key player for United.
