Tosun talks Blues struggles

He also made up his mind before the first game. I remember warning people when I heard the commentators during the game saying basically this.

we simply can not afford to carry a player at present.

we carry schniederlin half the time as it is

putting on a player who isn't up to it is a massive risk, its like playing with 10 men for 90 mins. you just cant do it.

we carry Niasse a little bit, alltho he tries his heart out and is actually an outlet, when he controls it and is capable of the unexpected and can last the 90 if required.

I think its his lack of pace. We already have Rooney and Sig. Playing so deep because our defense lacks pace also doesn't help. The gap in the middle is too big which is why the midfield is being walked through as if they aren't there and why our attack is isolated. Our problems are all rooted in Walsh and signing Tosun shows he still doesn't understand why.

I'm not a huge fan of Schneiderlin. I didn't want him if I'm honest but he's not as bad as he is showing and I know this will go against the grain but its not because I think they aren't trying.

Sam is trying to fix this, dropping either Rooney or Sig, playing Niasse, bringing in Walcott and Mangala but its not easy with this squad.

There are rumours that at least some of those 'fans' were Besiktas employees deployed to influence Evertonians.
I don't know if that's true but with the vast sums of money involved I'd be astonished if clubs didn't engage in social media manipulation.
Not true, person made the rumour up I believe. Other Turkish teams were thanking us for taking him away from Besiktas, so unless they were paid as well I think this is a lie.

Allardyce 05/01/18:

“This lad looks like he is strong mentally and has a good pedigree."

“He is Turkey’s No.1 striker and has scored goals in the Champions League and the Turkish League but he is desperate to play here in the Premier League.

“He is an all-rounder, with good movement. He is two-footed, perhaps not the biggest but he’s very efficient in the air and in the box he gets good space to get his head on the ball.

“We looked at the qualities of the player, his talent and goalscoring, and his resilience, too. I do not think you can look any more than we have done and, for the price, he is the best in Europe at the moment.”

Allardyce 05/02/18:

'Basically he's not up to it'.

What an utter farce especially given that we were desperate for a striker who could hit the fround running following the ballsup at the start of the season.

It seems that him and his DOF have been allowed to pour more of the club's money down the loo.

Sack them both immediately.

To be fair if there was a striker in their prime ready to come into the Premier League and hit the ground running you'd have City, Utd and Chelsea in a bidding war for him. Hopefully Tosun will come good. Just can't wait to get this season over with.

Surely there was someone already playing in the prem (obviously not top quality) who could have come in and hit the ground running to do a job for us.

Allardyce has been pretty open with the fact we signed him as he scored well with the KPI's set in scouting. There was no actual proper scouting done I don't think outside of game or two max.

who knows whats going on at FF but I'm sure this guy will come good. All our decent players need to hang in there this season and hopefully welcome the tsunami of change in the summer!

The problem is mate, the more he doesn't play (or if he's only given a run out here and there) the more he becomes frustrated, the more he becomes disillusioned. Got to remember, this lad was playing champions league footy not that long ago.

Isn't it funny how Klassen / Sandro / Tosun are all not up to it? none of them are ready for the league? Not good enough?

There is a pattern there!

Sorry but it is full of bull. no manager this season has wanted to take a gamble at any point despite the results being so bad. Who knows whether Klassen and sandro could have been first on the team sheet by now if they were given a fair crack? But some fans know differently because of what the club tell them about the players. The klassen with his like 4 appearances this season is 'not good enough', we probably got beat in all those games and the one game we didn't, he helped create the goal that won the game!

Tosun is exactly the same. No chance to make an impact and hauled off the pitch before he can create some himself. Told he isn't up to it whilst he watches who we do play get hammered 5-1 by arsenal. It is a joke and i am probably like a broken record here on the matter but it just amazes me that not only the way these players are treated but how many blues buy the official story on it!

It`s called deflection and bullying mate.

Blame the newest in or the players that have become easy targets for scapegoating..

The baffling thing, is that Schneiderfraud is getting a free ride !!!!!!!

I have said before it is almost like scapegoating them for the teams troubles yeah. It's a shame because on paper the lot of them are quite promising and much better than who we do play. Klassen is a pressing midfielder with goals and assists, compared to schneiderlin as you mentioned, who does nothing

its still early days and he will feature more, we need to hit that 40 mark ASAP!

Add Deulofeu and Lookman to this pattern....basically any player who isn't a workhorse (read, puts defence first) is not "up to it". But then to contradict we play someone like Bolasie who tries to beat the entire team twice before passing the ball. It's just baffling at the moment - I think these players are getting a hard time but I have no idea why it's happening
