The Race Relations Act forbids people from discriminating on the grounds of nationality. By choosing to specifically focus on newcomers from elsewhere in Europe over newcomers from elsewhere in Britain, what would you call it? You've banged on repeatedly about identity politics being a bad thing and how we're all more alike, yet seem happy to support people who willingly distinguish based upon nothing than where they were born. It's crazy.

Does the Race Relations Act allow global open borders? It doesn't. Why not?

No, but it applies to "any group of people who are defined by reference to their race, colour, nationality (including citizenship) or ethnic or national origin", so we can at least accept that you were wrong earlier. If you can begin to accept that you're quite happy distinguishing and identifying people based upon their nationality, then we can start to get somewhere.

It's crazy, yes, but not for the reason you think it is.

Firstly, how am I supporting such people? Explaining another viewpoint is not the same as supporting.

Secondly, every nation on Earth willingly distinguishes immigration policy based upon nothing than where they were born.

ergo, every nation on Earth is racist...according to your judgement. Is that what you really think?

Inappropriate Behaviour
Ok, so are all Brexit voters racist?

and which nation doesn't put its natives above foreigners when it comes to who should live where? And that is not the dictionary definition of racism, by the way.
Anyone who disagrees with the left are right wing, racist knuckle draggers

I think it's an incredibly outdated notion, yes. I also think it's a detrimental notion, and that migration is overwhelmingly positive. We are richer as a species, in every sense of the word, when we expose ourselves to that which is different. I can make it simple for you if you like. We've had a member on here saying he voted to leave because he didn't like hearing what he assumed were Polish voices in his local supermarket. Do you think that is a good point?

You said that the definition of racism was wrong. By the very law defining racism in the UK it isn't.

they're worse than that, they're actual nazis who support the mass murder of jewish folk.

I think it's best we don't disagree with Left doctrine anymore, best to stay safe.

Ignorance is strength. Down with the fascists! We were always at war with the fascists! I hate them all! Scum!!

Not at all. I don't think people should be treated differently based upon their nationality and I would be perfectly happy with open borders.

That's your opinion. And that's cool, if somewhat utopian. But am I correct in thinking you would indeed class every single nation on Earth's immigration policy as inherently racist? And as most native folk to those nations would broadly not support open borders, would that make most folk on Earth inherently racist too?

I personally think this is a gross misuse of what racist should (and indeed does) mean.

To an extent, yes, I think it is. The very idea of a nation state is pretty antiquated imo.
