So what’s the good racist ,fascist bits then , The trains running on time ?
If they have no good points (by points I mean arguments, not character), then how do they garner so much support? How do fascists historically gain support among the masses? They appeal to sensitive issues that the mainstream shy away from, issues that have some ugly or unwanted truth to them.
I'm not saying anything remotely controversial or new.
Or put another way, why do you think Tommy Robinson or any popularist fascist gain popular support? Now remember, I'm not supporting him or any fascist myself. I am however thinking about why so many do.
But I can see why he does get support.
Like what?
The good points I'm not gonna go into as it's a can of endless worms. If you're truly interested, youtube for example his chat with Sargon of Arkard (Akkad?), who's also a bad bell with some good points.
I think that’s a very different conversation, I absolutely can see why they get support .
They do exploit this IMO.
Particularly when the far left try and close off/belittle concerns.
Example "Any concern over immigration = racist" "Don't like the EU, voted leave = racist" type narrative plays right into the far right's hands.
Exactly what I've been trying to say the whole time! Am I saying it wrong?
Reckon so. We all reckon they play of fear/exploit issues, and understand why that could garner support, you reckon folk see some good things in them.
YesExactly what I've been trying to say the whole time! Am I saying it wrong?
It's a good point to claim the Left are shutting down debate about immigration/Brexit by shouting "bad racist!".
Agree or disagree with the above?
Dunno, going for a walk.
They do exploit this IMO.

Would you like to explain the difference bar one being members of a political party and those who support said political party? Or are we talking 17th-19th politics?
They do exploit this IMO.

Concern about immigration is a topic that has been covered on here numerous times, and leave supporters have generally batted away any attempts to actually get to the nitty gritty of what it is that concerns them about immigration by just shouting OUT very loudly.
