I think if we are going to loan him out again (which I am not a fan of for a second year, he needs to go abroad to a progressive team…that foreign experience does the youngsters the world of good in terms of development as a player and a person)….it Looks like Branthwaite has really benefitted fro pm it and it broadens their footballing education…I’m not sure Blackburn would do much for his development at all

Fair point. I think it would be good to have a foreign loan. That being said, are any foreign teams going to be after him?

Both because one of them is bound to get injured if they start to find any form.

I think Cannon may well be earmarked as the back up striker this season. We ideally need two strikers in, Calvert Lewin, as good as he is, just can't be relied on. I think Dyche may see Cannon as the back up to the striker he brings in to be first choice and that Calvert Lewin may well have more value as an impact sub, bearing in mind his constant fitness issues.

I think Simms will be sold or loaned.

I would like to see Cannon join our squad for next season. If we then sign another striker we will have then have three including DCL. This will reduce the workload on DCL and allow Cannon to get plenty of playing time in the first team over the season.

Fair point. I think it would be good to have a foreign loan. That being said, are any foreign teams going to be after him?

I guess it would really depend on MSPs connections with their other teams if they come in….that may ease the development path, by having some of their smaller clubs abroad take some of our players if appropriate to do so

He's put of the Ireland U21's now with Illness. Think we can write him off as an Irish International prospect tbh
