Dave, kopites do conspiracy watch.

leave it out, its good having a debate with you but all this stuff just makes you look very very bitter and the RAWK hunters will be lapping it up

Really? What's fantastical about it? You dont think the Barclay's PL is a business that wants to maximize its reach into markets and might want a big draw team to lead the way in the absence of its largest traditional draw team?

Maybe the decisions we witnessed are just a coincidence? That'll be it.

CONSPIRACEEEE

Anyone who had even a scintilla of doubt that the RS winning the league will not bring about the greatest crowing-fest since Istanbul need only go and read the Chelsea report in the Guardian - almost every comment BTL is about how "Borini needs to be given a medal" "Free drinks for Sunderland fans" etc etc.

What is it with those refs and liners
Nah - United were the premier leagues poster boys - Liverpool are in the pack with Arsenal and post 1996 Chelsea.

Beg to differ. The BBC started the ball rolling with 2 ex LFC players as pundits. Who else was there along with Hansen and Lawrenson? ITV sport had Townsend and Beglin. Radio the mouth piece was Alan Green after his stint on MOTD. Who took over MOTD2 - Colin Murray. On Sky the centre pair were Gray and Keys but who did the studio punditry? Rednapp was got in early, followed by Souness. In fact Manu were never the poster boys of the Premier league as far as Sky was concerned and the BBC started to dislike Ferguson for his refusal to be interviewed.

There are over 40 ex players and supporters that the media regularly call on to give an opinion about football. MOTD and BT are swarming with ex kopites. They set the football agenda and can determine for instance what to highlight and who to highlight. Punditry has become of the poisons that is rotting away at the heart of football. How many ex Manu players are called upon to give their opinion about football in general? Keane, Macari, sometimes Pallister. Manu have dominated the Premier league but only now does Sky get Neville in, from the most domestically successful team in English football history. Who else from Manu is a regular feature for Sky or talksport?

When Mourinho mentioned about the RS dominated media the media at first were all over him like a rash trying to pretend the RS don't dominate the media. But they dropped in like a brick after Jason Cundy defended Mourinho's statement on Chelsea TV. Let's see what happens with his comments about Riley.

Thats footie mate!

On another point, really glad you have stuck around. Sound fans of other clubs, even that lot, are welcome on GOT. You add to the site, and hope you have a poke around some of the other stuff we have on here.

Have had a nice experience on RTG, once I worked out your "welcome" that is! Hope you feel the same.;)

@Sunderland afc

Aye it's canny on here. And yes, the good ole ready to go welcome. Been on there since 2002, think I spend half my life on that place.

I just know that I'm going to be let down come the final whistle v Swansea. But, like at half time at wembley. You have to dare to dream.

Its not a conspiracy, jesus christ mate you sound daft. You ridiculed kopites for saying Ferguson and webb where in bed with the FA and you're doing the same

what I've witnessed thsi year is poor refereeing decisions in virtually every game I've watched

They weren't in title races with them. That was the hilarious part of it. The fact they thought it was a conspiracy with nothing riding on it.

Keep up.

They (kopites) were saying it was a conspiracy to let united win the league

you're saying its a conspiracy to let the rs win the league

when decisions go in favour of those you hate, whether justified or not, people pipe up. They did for 20 years and now you've started.

Well as a fan of a team, who if can hardly ever remember getting any dodgy decisions at home grounds of top teams, may I say

Whoop whoop

I feel sick with hope. Like I said before just a shame it means that Liverpool might win the title.

In saying that we still need some big favours from other teams.
