It's not the fault of VAR itself but the fault of those using it incorrectly or poorly

That's not how offside works but even if it was I'd say the player who was offside scoring is a clear mistake

Keep me right here as my ignorance had me always believing you couldnt be offside when the ball was cut back (realise now i was wrong)
However, everywhere i read states that you cannot be offside from a corner as it is impossible, surely if the ball is placed at the outside of the corner arc and the attackers knee/shoulder/head etc is on the goal line, then the attacker could be offside?
Previously people couldve argued that this was too fine a margin to be ruled offside but given they now call off by the width of a big toe, surely the width of the corner arc is enough.
On that basis there could be offsides every weekend that have never been looked into by Var?

I think that, even if the ball is placed on the outside of the arc, it's technically considered to be on the byline. Thus, as you say, you can't be offside.

I watched this video and the security is so weird, you would think given that the world cup is literally next month they would be very welcoming to tourists and travellers. Qatar is going to be a dodgy place.
