Its a weird one. We could get our highest points total in the Premier League but not achieve anything for it (European Football)

To finish one place outside of a European spot has become the Everton way. Looks like it will happen again this season. The late equaliser by Spurs will possibly be seen in future years as our 1984 'Oxford' moment in reverse.
