After watching that performance today I can't see us struggling again this season.

Immense from each and every one of them and surely they can only get better the more they play for each other?

We’ve had ups and downs so far but never looked like completely collapsing at any point like last season. Heads aren’t dropping when we concede and we are scrapping to the last minute.

The defence clicked early on, the midfield looks like it’s starting to click into place, now just for the small matter of scoring goals ( ) and I think (hope) we can have a season to build up from! ?

The position range I gave will be just a few points, hence the term mush of nothingness.

I have high hopes for this team (and manager) in the next couple of years.

@tommye I’m growing in confidence when you consider the DoF, what the manager is doing and the squad. We’re far from being in trouble.

Amongst all the jubilation still need to win an actual game.....

Arsenal next week is a monumental ask and everyone would sign up now for a point right now like today.

West Ham at home....they are improving. Should never have lost today at Chelsea and Moyes knows well how to prepare for Goodison atmosphere and take the sting out.

After that it's Man. United, Spurs and Newcastle. Southampton away looks winnable but they're a very random team who's style causes great difficulty for top half teams so never quite what you're going to get.

I think this is going to be the problem going forward. Good 90 minute performances but just a lack of conviction infront of goal.

Stating the obvious but really need DCL involved from West Ham at home right up to world cup break and then it's a decent point to analyse the balance of the team.

Strange old season so far....Bournemouth I had as 20th by a distance and they've sacked Parker and yet they've picked up points in every single game you'd have expected them so far so suggest they'll be competitive than everyone expects.

Can see a real change in the team. We're organised and willing to fight, for 90 mins. I expect us to have a decent season, with no worries about going down. Something to build upon for next season. We have to give Lampard time, I'm sure once DCL is back and fit we'll be climbing the table.

We defo have a bit more about us. We look a stronger unit defensively and the middle of the pitch seems worlds away from what we put up with last season.

Just need the attack to come together and I’m confident it’ll get there.

Gordon has come on massively, and with the squad additions deadwood like Mina, Allan and Doucoure won't be starting for us any time soon..

Encouraging performance and point today .... but even last year we usually were decent against the better teams. We need to be beating the lower half teams when they play us .... still a few tough games before WC break

Put it this way....Newcastle didn't win until what December last season? Their form from middle of January onwards was basically top 6 and they finished 11th so that's the problem when you're slow out of the blocks with wins you won't catch up with all the realistic teams who have good starts.
