…it’s a bit of a nonsense post, it’s a football forum and he’s been largely disappointing but I’m sure everybody wants him to be the real deal. Similar with Dibling, they both have a lot to prove but we just want them to do it.

Tbf, we were told from day 1 that he was raw and would need to learn on the job. He's had a rapid rise from a much lower level of football.

He's doing it though, improving almost every week and clearly backs himself to come good. Quality finish today and he showed that he can be a real handful when his confidence is up.

Not disagreeing there. Not had a proper striker since Rom. Our #9 needs to be of that ilk.

I suppose youre right, 3 in 4 does seem to suggest that but we know he just isnt a natural goalscorer.

Currently, he's better value for money than those two 'big' signings.

I don’t people are writing him off. They just appreciate he’s not the finished article and has a lot to learn.

Great finish today though, his confidence is rising.

Beto on the other hand has had enough chances and just isn’t good enough.

It was heartwarming to see how made up he was after the game. Sometimes you have to remind yourself these players we over analyse and critique are just normal kids trying their best in a life they're thrust into.
