Imagine if Larry David had been allowed to write profanity into the Soup Nazi script, and you get the idea. They can go for quite a while without repeating themselves. You would probably do it too, if you heard the same moron question fifty times a day and the owner wouldn't fire you for it.

Sure they exist, but must be really rare. Think I met one guy finishing a PHD who self labelled as a Marxist. The idea that Academia is awash with Marxists is nonsense. in my experience of course.

It's very liberal (at least in the social sciences) most places. They're not really Bernie people, though. They're Hillary-lawn-sign people, mostly.

There are definitely departments (most famously, UChicago Econ) where the opposite is very much true.

U.K. maybe different a bit. Definitely a lot more of a social democrat feel in the social sciences I think.
Had a tutor who was very well known in certain circles who was certainly more of a neo liberal and was seen as a bit controversial as he was saying unpopular things. Nice guy and had some very good ideas.

OK, so first point to raise and I will never get bored of this. How do you define woke, there is nothing in the above that says what they are teaching?

The second point is that you have posted the same story 3 times, is this an attempt to make us think, wait there are loads of them. That headline is gold, one person freaks out at a reporter and all of the left now loves violence and hates speech, what ever that last one actually is meant to mean.
