NYC professor Shellyne Rodriguez under investigation after chasing Post reporter, photographer with machete: cops​

The unhinged New York City art professor who held a machete to a Post reporter’s neck after he knocked on her apartment door Tuesday morning is under investigation by the NYPD, according to police.

Shellyne Rodriguez could face assault and other charges over the frightening altercation, which began inside her Bronx apartment building before she chased two Post staffers in the street, according to law enforcement sources.

New York Post veteran Reuven Fenton and a photographer visited Rodriguez to inquire about a viral video from earlier this month in which she freaked out on pro-life students in an expletive-laced tirade at Hunter College, where she was employed.

After Fenton identified himself as a reporter, Rodriguez, 45, threatened to “chop” him up before she flung open the door and put the blade of the machete up to his neck, video shows.

“Get the f–k away from my door!” she yelled repeatedly before slamming the door in his face.

The Post staffers left immediately, but Rodriguez, still armed with the machete, pursued them into the street, dashcam footage shows.

“If I see you on this block one more f–king time, you’re gonna …!” Rodriguez yelled at them.

“Get the f–k off the block! Get the f–k out of here, yo!” she screamed.

She also kicked the reporter in the shins as he tried to get in his car.

Hours after the terrifying incident, Rodriguez was fired from Hunter College, the Manhattan school confirmed.

“Rodriguez has been relieved of her duties at Hunter College effective immediately and will not be returning to teach at the school,” school spokesman Vince Dimiceli told The Post.

You should have had a read around on the New York Post website. They've already answered your question and the scary examples of it that are now being taught and performed in US educational establishments. This is yet another American export that we don't want to see reproduced here because much of the madness does end up coming over - like BLM.

Hunter College freakout proves left loves violence and hates speech​


The new credo of the American left is: Speech I don’t like is violence; violence I like is speech.

Look no farther for proof than Hunter College adjunct Shellyne Rodriguez, who held a machete to Post reporter Reuven Fenton’s neck Tuesday after he dared seek comment on her earlier attack on a student pro-life-information table.

“Get the f–k away from my door or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete,” shouted the unhinged academic, 46, before chasing Post photographer Robert Miller down the street.

This follows her earlier meltdown in a Hunter hallway.

As now-viral video shows, on May 2 she spotted some pamphlets she disliked and told the students behind the table, “This is violent. You’re triggering my students” — then threw literature off their display.

That’s who’s educating our kids (and on the public dime, to boot).

Actual lunatics who absurdly declare words to be violence while excusing the very real violence they themselves commit, up to and including deadly physical threats.
