Well there is a definition of ‘an awareness of racial injustice’ bandied about. While this is a fine definition it is apparently evolving into ‘an awareness of social and racial injustice’ . Personally I would describe ‘woke’ as being overly sensitive…but no doubt everyone will see it differently…..

It was ‘political correctness gone mad’ or the PC brigade not so long ago. Just the same thing rebranded. A lot of people don’t like being told that what they’re saying or doing is considered by other people as being wrong or offensive. People get their back up and lash out instead of stopping to think.

People who use the term in a derogatory manner don’t particularly like to define what woke is as it would invariably be described as being (at least in part) against racial injustice. This leads to the obvious accusation that they’re actually pretty racist then.

That definition requires somebody as acting woke, in any given scenario. It doesn't need to be political. Somebody calls you a name and you react, 'you are being so woke, right now'. Rather than it being about having woke ideologies. I would heavily assume that somebody calling somebody out for being woke are not talking about their feelings but more the topic of conversation.

It is a strange take on the current use of the word but if that is how you truly see it then fair enough.

I don’t think decency is a bandwagon

Decency isn’t and should be displayed and celebrated by all. Of course when it butts up to reality and is pushed in cult like format upon the vast majority is when it does itself a disservice. Good deeds and decency will always carry the majority with their aims, but attempting to force single issue beliefs upon people, by fanatics, without gaining their acceptance will usually fail. Most churches and religions promote peace, love and decency, yet church numbers decline each year. The days of telling people what to do as opposed to convincing people are over….

A number of shoppers pledged to avoid Calvin Klein products, in a move that they compared to the boycott of Bud Light, the American beer brand, earlier this month.

I don't agree with the definition you've developed so far. I don't see any any sensitivity to injustice. The injustice, above, cannot be that fat bearded men just can't find a bra that fits ... Part of the definition must be: arrogant people who think their feelings are more important than anyone else's and particularly a majority of views.
