When do people transition, what age? Puberty blockers, when are they used? Who makes the decision? What happens if the decision was the wrong one? What is an acceptable rate of changed minds on surgery?

What happens to sex? I don’t think pretending sex doesn’t exist is the way to go, and asking questions such as are you pregnant to men is the best approach which seems to be our current one.

I am not sure that anybody argues that biological sex does not exist. If they are then they are morons, whatever side of the wall you stand.

What people feel they are and what they were born are 2 separate things to discuss. This is where your mis-understanding comes from, sex and gender are not mutually exclusive. I will return to the birthplace, on a birth certificate it is there, an in your face fact. A birth place, but do you feel that defines you, do you feel like you are from that area, hold their beliefs, etc. That is you as a person and it is an accepted part of life that this can happen.

It is no different with sex and gender identification, you can identify as what ever you want while having been born a different sex.

Also, I see the word indoctrination in this post, I have a feeling that another bigoted cliche may be coming our way.

But in terms of the woke, as I understand it, they are people who understand situations and phraseology better than the average person. Despite their youth and inexperience they have a better understanding and sensitivity of the world than anybody else and they just love letting everybody else know about it. I'm thinking of people like @Bishop Thumpety-Thump, who has elsewhere capitulated in reading and replying un the face of my reasoning, a person who clearly loves women far more than I do, as he (she?) keeps implying at every opportunity as they signal their vurtue. I am, after all a committed and guilty misogynist because I dislike a certain radio 4 obsession with female centric programming. That's all you have to do to become a gammon it seems to some people armed with a modern thesaurus of insults and a questionable IQ. But then he/she, the woke lover, the tolerant one, can't wait for all the "boomers" to die, as he/she implied in a thread elsewhere- so what price hypocrisy?

But I digress ... cultural appropriation... is not a woke thing to do - but where does this stop? Should a bollywood actor play the part of a westerner? (I wouldnt be hurt ... if the part was played well then so be it), should a Scot play a soviet submarine commander with a bad accent? (Who cares if the film is good) Would a two legged man playing the part of a one legged man be considered woke today? Would the sketch below be "allowed" today by those so wokenly superior, to we plebs, who take vocal offence on behalf of those who really arent bothered in the slightest? The problem is, wokes aren't able to read and understand complex climate models and decades of empirical research by highly qualified scientists like us moderate centrists are, so they believe all this claptrap!!!
