Moyes will NEVER win a trophy. You have to be bold as a manager and Moyes cant handle a big occasion. He'll retire without any major trophy. Amazing really for one of the highest paid managers in world football for the past 10 years.

He did win the Freight Rover Trophy as a player. I was there.

You're in no way wrong in what you're saying. They should all be doing better without any question.

But you're looking at it a little simplistically. For me anyway.

The players should be doing better.

Maybe they can't do better as they're not good enough these days? Seems plausible.

Maybe they can't do better as they don't beleive in what the boss is doing? Not a good thing I admit.

Amongst other possibilities.

But there's really nothing we can do about it sadly.

I don't think it's a case of not trying during games as I dare say most of the things you do in a game are unconscious. It'd be more a case of not putting in the work before the game on the training pitch and I'm not sure we can really know that either way.

Spot on mate about Stones. About 3 or 4 times that game he could have gone off but he battled on

The team seems to play well and give it their all for the first 10-15 minutes. Then the 'cant be arsed' way of thinking and playing suddenly kicks in for the rest of the game.

I just don't know.

Either the players are either struggling due to age and keeping up with the ever increasing pace of the top flight, or are injured and still playing.

Or they are partaking in some sort of football positioning mutiny against the Manager.

So I can't vote a simple yes or no.

I hope we don't end up as a BT Sport Boxing Day Special.

I think a part of that is due to fitness.
But i wonder with all the slow sideways/backwards stuff the players get into a zone and its then a struggle to up their game
