Watch the 100% effort return once one of their mates are installed.

nonsense mate. One of the players mates? This isn't a nursery, it's a serious sport and I don't think the players belittle it that way. It seems you see it in a way where players spit their dummies out and act like two year olds if they don't get their own way

If that is true the question is why. Something must have happened for that to happen. They were happy to play for him last year.
Spot on. Fekkin disgrace if they haven't got a professional attitude. Martinez doesn't pay them, Everton do.

And as you say, the manager's ideas were good enough for these same players to school Arsenal twice last season, a team which has been synonymous of flowing possession football for the best part of the last 2 decades.

Sylvain Distin (37) - June 2015 - (signed a new contract Jan 2014)
Tim Howard (35) - June 2018 - (signed new contact April 2014)
Steven Pienaar (32) - June 2016
Leon Osman (33) - June 2016 (signed new contract Nov 2014)

3 out of the 4 "troublesome" players all signed contracts less than 12 months ago.

Can't see them turning. Distin practically ends his career at the end of the season.

I feel we need players like Hibbert and Osman to help turn this around, they know what it's like and have the passion to wear the shirt. I think they can show true grit.

They showed true sh1t on the right wing in the fa cup final.

I love Tony Hibbert, but I hated him on that journey back from Wembley. Luckily alcohol and drugs eased the pain.

the players just luck like they could'nt give a hoot. never seen such a sorry looking lot.
But i'll be there against west ham getting behind the lads.

To be honest, I'm inclined to agree with you. I get the distinct impression that Seamus' head has been turned and, while I love the man, anyone who doesn't want to be at our club can get right the fk out.
I haven't looked into all the paper talk of supposed deals or transfers or interest or whatever

but would I be mistaken in that I thought Seamus was one of the ones actually trying yesterday ???

I may well be wrong as I'm very biased in favour of the lad

The players are still playing for Bobby, he brought a lot of them into the club after all.

They've had a good few decisions go against them on the field.
The manager hasn't got his team selections or tactics correct.
Some key players have been injured since pre season.
Players need confidence in the system and roles they are being asked to do.

I fully expect things to improve.
Maybe a few of them need a good kick up the hole, players and manegement

Aye, one of the few to be fair. But he's been poor in quite a few games this season, tentative going forward and looking generally at home in our lethargic team. It could be paranoia, but I get the impression that something isn't quite right with him and if someone wants to leave, I say take the money and drive him to the airport. He's one of the best right backs in the world but he's not bigger than the club and I'd prefer to get someone young and hungry, maybe even give Browning a chance.
