….think Cliff Marshall went there. Weirdly, I picked up my city team photograph from your school. If I remember rightly one of the teachers there (Mr Sutcliffe) was Secretary of the Schoolboys FA.

Yes you’re right about Cliff Marshall. I don’t remember a Mr.Sutcliffe but there were two schools on the site, he may have taught in the seniors. I left after the juniors , there’s an ALDI there now.

I was 7 too. Sitting on my dad's lap in my jimjams when the news came through.

I was about 8 years old hanging around our local chippy with my mates on a Friday night & some guy walked past devasted to tel us the president of the USA had been assassinated & he was dead ....
