…..every December I buy an ‘Injured Jockey’s Fund’ calendar that goes up in our kitchen, tends to be full of notes like ‘pick the girls up from school’ or ‘minding Eddie’ (the dog);

Yes, every year. Last few years I have purchased the narrow calendar version of the Simons Cat calendar. In Xmas week I copy the birthdays etc from the previous year onto the new years calendar.
 
Having the 15 different jobs I had to rely on a diary as a few were every other week and many a time I've turned up at a job a week early or a week late 😆 thats gone in the bin now though and treated myself to a smaller one for hospital appointments, dates etc. I usually buy a calendar from a charity shop after the New Year as they usually half price. I often forget to turn them over to the new month though 😆

Write “turn page over” on the last day of every month. 😀

Yep, me and mrs degsy, it's no good my shiz being on my phone and her stuff on hers...although Google calendar still gets used for reminders etc...if it's on the calender she can make plans (like I have a say :lol: ) and know when...
