The Oldies Thread

…..every December I buy an ‘Injured Jockey’s Fund’ calendar that goes up in our kitchen, tends to be full of notes like ‘pick the girls up from school’ or ‘minding Eddie’ (the dog);
Not a calander, but I do have dozens of pocket diaries up in the loft which date back from the early 70s until I retired in 2011.
Nothing really interesting in them, but I know what shift I was working on any particular day. :lol:

Kitchen calendar featuring pix of fluffy kittens - all of whom probably lived and died thirty years ago - which we get for Christmas from sister-in-law. It's mostly medical appointments and reminders for repeat prescriptions and the like.
It's being so cheerful keeps us going here in Auchtermuchty as we gaze out at the teeming rain

Every year

This year we had one made from photos of our wedding in Cyprus.

Previous years to that I’ve had George Michael, Everton and last year my daughter bullied us into an Olivia Rodrigo one.
