Yeah, but that's okay because it was describing something that went wrong. It's only Tory's' responsibility when things have gone well. But Rees Mogg was doing just that the other day.

Yes I was working then.Because after 13 years we were broke…..anyone remember the term ‘Winter of discontent’…anyone…
Yes I was working then.
But if I remember rightly, wasn't there a Conservative government under Heath at the time.

Go away Pete…. the UK is a horrible place to live in because of you and your vile generation. You took it all and left nothing. Please don’t pretend that your lot had it tough because you didn’t.No mate, Labour and James Callaghan …..

You lived through the Thatcher regime, then? 3 million unemployed and 15% interest rates, for starters? And please explain this 'all' that was taken. And please explain this 'nothing' that was left. I will be most interested to see your very detailed axplanation of both...
Don’t like it when someone winds you up Peter?
Are you telling me you haven’t benefited massively from house price increases over the years? You’re the luckiest generation that’s ever lived and deep down you know it.
Hope the boss gets better. We all suffered and continue to suffer through Covid. My wife is suffering a long term effect as a result. But I’d blame the Chinese wet markets or labs before any western governments including our own…
So you have benefitted then?I have not benefited from house price increases. My house is indeed worth a great deal more than I paid, but then again I was paying astronomical mortgages. But I have not benefited personally, my kids will when my wife and I pass away. The thing that my generation was lucky about was the fact we didn’t have a world war to contend with, money wise nothing…..
