But Rees Mogg was doing just that the other day.

Depends what he was on about. If it was our relationship with the Eu and their bloody mindedness over NI, or French customs at Dover then fair enough. I expect the EU will similarly be blaming the U.K. for a myriad of issues. It’ll take a bit of time for both sides to settle down and understand the divorce that has taken place…

Go away Pete…. the UK is a horrible place to live in because of you and your vile generation. You took it all and left nothing. Please don’t pretend that your lot had it tough because you didn’t.

No pretence at all. Just look at the historical mortgage rates to get an idea...”took it all and left nothing” you are living in a fantasy world…..

You lived through the Thatcher regime, then? 3 million unemployed and 15% interest rates, for starters? Simple answer: yes or no.

And please explain this 'all' that was taken. And please explain this 'nothing' that was left. I will be most interested to see your very detailed axplanation of both...

Don’t like it when someone winds you up Peter?

Are you telling me you haven’t benefited massively from house price increases over the years? You’re the luckiest generation that’s ever lived and deep down you know it.

The golden generation.

I see you retirees in your fancy motors, taking 3 holidays a year. Stop pretending you were dealt a bad hand ;)

I have not benefited from house price increases. My house is indeed worth a great deal more than I paid, but then again I was paying astronomical mortgages. But I have not benefited personally, my kids will when my wife and I pass away. The thing that my generation was lucky about was the fact we didn’t have a world war to contend with, money wise nothing…..

We all suffered and continue to suffer through Covid. My wife is suffering a long term effect as a result. But I’d blame the Chinese wet markets or labs before any western governments including our own…
Hope the boss gets better.
Can you point out where the chinese or any western government decided to pay out covid loans to imaginary uk companies please. (then decide to write off the fraud)
chinese or any western government:- brought in uk covid restrictions that they themselves didnt follow.
chinese or any western government:- repeatedly lied about downing street parties and the attendance thereof.
chinese or any western government:- that misappropriated or worse misrepresented the uk propaganda regards £350million weekly for the nhs.
chinese or any western government:- that paid out for a track and trace scheme no one has ever seen let alone used.

You see, johnson wants his name in history and he has it, he has overseen a set of decisions like Churchill, only instead of the victory over the oppression of nazism (ahem) johnsons legacy is a disaster of Gallipoli proportions.

So you have benefitted then?

I bet your generation are still paying back your student loans you poor buggers.

Woe is me

Let’s face it, a large percentage of you are rotten Tories because you wanna keep hold of your wealth.
