Log burners are contributing to global warming…..
Any form of combustion is

However burning logs is releasing the carbon into the atmosphere that the tree has absorbed in its lifetime... So it's more sustainable providing the trees are replanted accordingly.

Better than the carbon stored in fossil fuels that was stored over millions of years

There is an issue with particulates and log burners though, they need a bit of know-how/skill to minimise this

Look, we are all paying more for fuel and gas etc. Inflation is raging across Europe and the USA, the Ukraine situation is causing mayhem, and companies are trying to recover their cashflow due to Covid. We are where we are, and the whole of the western world is in the same place. We could of course had Corbyn running the country, having got rid of our nuclear defence and suggesting that Ukraine give in to Russia in order to stop the war, and getting on the picket lines with any strikers. But would anything honestly be better ??????

again!

Again whataboutry, you like your party have run out of reasons and excuses. Who knows if Corbyn or Starmer, maybe we are focusing on individuals too much here. I do think sincerely that Labour could well have done better. We have had 10 years of austerity, which has produced the square root off f- all good for the Country, looking at your party, your front bench is a disgrace too politics, thick as pigshit, lazy, entitled nobodies, there is nothing there at all.

So, you’ve got nothing….

There might not have been policies you were in favour of but we wouldn’t have had a government/ PM running roughshod over political accountability and due process further undermining any trust in government.

Depends what you prioritise I suppose.

We would have lost our nuclear defence, and would now be more concerned with Russian dead than Ukrainians…..and probably bankrupt as well….you know this….

Nothing wrong with the principle Pete.

Other countries had systems that worked efficiently, for a fraction of the cost.

It was either procured incompetently by the Tories, or there was outright corruption, or both statements are true.

Notice those that liked your post, the biggest supporters of the failed test and trace…..

Your fantasizing again Pete, what if, or what about ? Accept reality for Christ sake, your party has had over 12 years and we are worse off, that's the truth. Oh and btw, our defence budget has dropped under Johnson's government, who'd of thought..

In what way are you worse off….

Did what he said on Brexit, got us through Covid, proper support to Ukraine. We are only a laughing stock in the minds of Labour…..

He started on the other side, and he is messing around with peace in Ireland, breaking international law. Trade is going very very badly

He partied through COViD, had one of the highest death counts per population and was indecisive on a lot. Others bailed him out with the vaccines, which did go well

He used the war as a PR move to try and keep him in power

All the Tories I know dislike him too, funnily enough

illegally prorogue parliament.
change parliament rules halfway through an innings to keep his mate patterson who was on the take
support for and lied for a known sex offender
the decision to put covid sufferers back into care homes single handedly cost thousands of lives

off the top of my head...

I don't understand what you gain from pretending Corbyn as PM

Johnson was an actual PM, failed at everything and made the UK a laughing stock
I think it’s the only comfort blanket that remains, for the Tories’ Daily Mail and Telegraph reading supporters, which allows them to deny reality.

Whatever happened, however corrupt, incompetent and uncaring, the Tories have proven to be, the spectre of Corbyn allows the pretence of a worse, wholly imaginary scenario to be created.

They will continue to gloat about their brexit “victory” because the outcome and its impact on the country, doesn’t matter in their world.

Presenting brexit as a victory, excuses all else. Like some valiant battle won against all odds. The lies told to achieve brexit, have now become the norm and have to be perpetuated, otherwise the great con is exposed.

On an intellectual level it is an entirely spurious argument, but you can’t deny the truth to yourself, without swallowing, regurgitating and defending, all the cult’s lies.

International law is not being broken. Trade is going very very well, trade to Eu is up 27% since the vote after years of decline, international trade is also growing. If the Tories you know dislike him, then they are not actual Tories but Labour supporters. At least be honest…..

Guys, you hate Boris and the Tories, I get that. And I will never change your opinion, you know that, but at least be honest and stop running the country down.….
