Reports that they'll take contracts starting at ~$12m each, which would leave the $5m cap space. hot a lot, but ppl seem to be willing to take small potatoes to play there atm... tough to fill out the whole roster on the cheap again tho...

The Heat are in a tough situation, it will be extremely hard to get people in on the cheap until LeBron signs and he wont commit until they get some decent back up as there are a number of other teams that could offer him a contending team. It will be interesting to see how the Heat manage their roster as they currently only have Napier and Cole guaranteed for next season as well as probably Wade and Haslem on reduced contracts as I can't see them to leaving even if LeBron leaves.

So the Heat have started to make some moves, signing Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts. McRobberts is a solid player and will help space the floor a bit better, however Danny Granger isn't the same as he was previously. Didn't really impress last year but it wouldn't surprise me if he is revitalised in Miami (obviously not to his former levels).

Obviously what they're hoping for, but that tactic hasn't worked out great for them recently. Personally the longer this all drags on the less chance I think there is of them all staying put. Doesn't seem to be a lot of rumours flying about about it all atm. Just maybe Bosh is considering Hosuton's max offer and LeBron maybe thinging of going back home...

So Lebron wants a max contract, which he obviously deserves. Kind of pointless Wade and Bosh taking pay cuts just to pay Lebron more, which doesn't solve the depth issues.

None of it really adds up. You don't want to bring in Carmelo because he plays the same position either. So LeBron gets a max at the expense of others and they add only McRoberts and Granger?

It's the end of the Big 3 era. LeBron has decided on the Cavs, Bosh will most likely be off to the rockets now and the Heat will begin the rebuilding process, probably with D Wade as they can't really not give him a contract after he opted out for them.

I'm happy for the Cavs, they're a nice side to watch. The TV Coverage of his first game back is going to be insane, prepare yourself for 'Tell the world, I'm coming home' at any chance.
