Big signing, but they still need at least 1 more piece

Yeah, not quite so happy when you think we could have just kept him a couple of years back. Felton is a massive downgrade from Calderon too. Plus, we've traded our draft picks, so unless we get another starter like you say, we'll struggle to get much further than what we did this past season..

Also, what do we think for the draft guys? I'm staying up to watch it, can't wait personally! A lot of talent in this class.

I'd like to see Jabari P or even Embiid (but that won't happen with his injury I don't think) go #1, as they seem a bit more humble than Wiggins.
Also looking forward to see where the likes of Aaron Gordon and Doug McDermott end up, they could be very handy players in the near future!

I like Cuban, but not sure what his plan is for building the team. Are these moves his or Donnie Nelson's.

It will be a bit of both I imagine, I think he leaves Donny with all the trading/drafts etc.. but you know how Cuban likes to step in and I can imagine him just saying 'Get my Tyson Chandler back' and leaving it at that.

Anyway, lots of cap space flying around tonight, so could see some exciting trades! Wouldn't mind Jeremy Lin or someone similar tonight

Are you telling me that these guys are opting out of their contracts so that they can re-sign with the same team for more money because they don't want to uproot their families?

No, I'm telling you these guys are opting out of their contracts, which happens all the time in the NBA btw, to resign with the same teams for lots more money first and foremost. My point about Melo not wanting to leave New York was just something I was putting out there because I think fans and journos sometimes get ahead of themselves with rumours and speculation

I doubt any of them is opting out to resign for more money. It's either to leave, or to take less to help build a contender imo. Besides, technically would the way to make most money be to opt in, then take a new max contract in a years time?

Didn't realise it was on already! Any trades gone down yet? Bucks will take Parker presumably?

Yep! Jabari will be close to his hometown at the Bucks, I think he's my personal favourite in this draft. Perhaps surprisingly, Aaron Gordon went 4th rather than Exum. Rumours of Wiggins and Embiid being traded, but nothing been done as of yet!
