Heart 1 - 1 Head then... still lots of games being won by the away team so this series is far from over, and I think that's only SAs 2nd loss at home, so probably their last. Fancy them to get one in Miami at some point. Really hope they do. Lebron and Wade seem to be struggling physically, which has got to help...

Some of you may like this; I certainly enjoy this sort of thing

Oscar, Jordan, Durant, Duncan, Hakeem. Hard not to pick Magic, but this team will be hard to beat.
Stockton, Jordan, Durant, Duncan, Hakeem.

And $2 left over.

I think last night's game was the model for Miami. Get Leonard in foul trouble early, free up LeBron to destroy the floor. This reminds me of some Celtics-Lakers duels, but the lack of AC at game 1 may also have a role in that memory. Will be interesting to see what changes Pop makes for Game 3. I'm not convinced Spoelstra is at his level, but not sure he needs to be.

In other news, Derek Fisher is going to be the new Knicks coach. Interesting appointment, but he certainly knows the game so every success to him!

Until I see him fail, I'm convinced that Phil Jackson will win.

Then again, he's changing careers, and I might have said the same thing about Jordan. But I'll stick with Jackson. Very few players have made the transition to administration successfully. Is it only West and Bird that have been successful? Riley also, but I don't count him since he coached first. (Maybe then I shouldn't count Bird also... ?)

I know it's not exactly been fully played out, but I think Jason Kidd has done pretty well going in to coaching straight after playing. I see him and Fish as similar, both experienced leaders and winners with a good knowledge of the game. Fish has been heading the players association in recent years too, so he knows how to mediate too.

Brooklyn vs New York. Kidd vs Fisher. Will certainly be interesting to see if he can bring some success next season.

Haven't posted one of my own, but had looked at something like this, but take Pippen over Durant (why split the best tandem of all time) and use the $1 saved and the $2 spare to get Magic at the point.

Don't know how well that'll work for Miami. SA missed 4 straight free throws don't the stretch and Duncan missed a fairly easy layup at the half time buzzer in a 2 point loss. Still think SA will win one in Mia (prob G4 or 6) and win out at home.

Hmm, interesting. J Kidd did do pretty well after a bad start. But it will be interesting to watch as neither Fisher or Jackson has experience in the roles they are taking, despite their successes previously. Can they both be good enough to get the Knicks out of the dire situation they've got into?

Although I would prefer the Spurs to win, I would love for the Heat to perform a comeback and take it to game 7 again.

Finally caught up with the Finals over the w/e... great result. Big surprise to see Leonard as MVP!! :o :D

Draft is in a few days, gonna be interesting to see if any big trades go down, and whether the Bulls can add some firepower to the roster...
