?Repeat Yak was awsome today playin with a smile on his face an Terorizin there whole back 4!(y)

Unstoppable today.

He must be nearly fully fit now?

He looked out of steam in the last 3rd of the game. So maybe not.

But honestly, I don't care if he never scores again if he can keep doing what he did today. His holdup play was beyond sensational at points, and he was just embarrassing their defence all day.

I thought the muscles from the med, in white wine and cream sauce, with a garlic bread, followed by sirloin steak in red wine and stilton with a baked potato for health reasons.
Watching him fold Konchesky like an ironing board was a treat.

His last goal for us was back in April against Blackburn, when he came straight on and scored. He's been getting chances. Hopefully he'll bury one and go on a run.

I AM GOING TO BE BUMPING THIS THREAD THE NEXT TIME SOME DUMB DICK GETS ON HERE AND SAYS WE NEED TO SELL YAK OR HE'S PAST IT OR HE ISN'T OVER HIS INJURY.

I'VE SAID IT BEFORE AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN. TOO MANY SHORT MEMORIES ON GOT WHICH NEED TO BE JOLTED BACK TO REALITY FROM TIME TO TIME.

(yeah, I know I was shouting but maybe it'll sink in this time with those who were on the "Yak Out" bandwagon.)

We need to sell Yak. He's past it.

Seriously, he held up the ball quite nicely once or twice before getting knackered and offering us nothing in the second half and we're supposed to forget that we're a team of shrot goals and he hasn't scored all season?

I don't disagree with what your saying in terms of needed improvement. He's come close to scoring a few times (hit the post once or twice if I remember correctly) but it's a matter of time before some poor team gets in his way and he just runs them over by himself.

His fitness levels will come as well as he plays more minutes.

I could look at that all life long. One of the best derby moments!

Possibly a bad example, but England used Heskey the same way, and I'm damned sure that the Yak is a better player than he will ever be. We have a lot of talented attacking midfielders who can score the goals if he cannot find the net, but I'm confident he will, he's scored his entire career and it'll come back, a ruptured achilles doesn't affect your brain's knowledge of where the back of the net is.
It'd be nice to have Villa up front, but it just aint gonna happen.
