wait, a Spurs fan is using the name "HH" on here?
bit odd isn't it?
A bit of a give away.

Edit. The right wing Nazi types, are trawling the football clubs internet forums whipping up support for their met up in London over the weekend and to gauge support for such a meeting.

lol . Just come across this thread and these little gems. Some of you are really "Special" type of people and I'm surprised you also didn't call me a "R.S." cos their manager is Germanlol?

P.S.
It now makes sense why a few weeks ago someone asked me why the initials H.H? For the record, it's to to with Henry/Harry Hotspur,a land owner from Northumberland who had even more land around Spurs, not some Austrian bloke who lived in Germany lol

Two questions:

Who is the black person or people that started the slave trade?

Where are the statues of these people?

I don't know the answer to either so please enlighten me

you reckon a few english and portugese lads just rocked up in Africa and managed to start it? no chance.

Slavery was rife in Africa long before the slave trade. And even when it did start, rarely did they go into Africa and 'steal' people.

That was left to African tribal chiefs who usually won them in conflict and sold them on.

He was asking who they were and where in England their statues were

The autobiography of Olaudah Equiano, The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, or Gustavus Vassa, the African. is an interesting read and harrowing account of how African slavers would kidnap children and sell them to the men who were white.

I add this as it was not just the chiefs who offered their slaves in return for goods to European traders. :(

Thanks for not even vaguely answering my question. You win this round sir

I ignored it as I failed to see the point of it.

I'll break it down for you mate.

People are toppling specific statues, such as Edward Colston's, because they were heavily involved in the slave trade. I'm not saying I agree with the toppling, but that's what they are doing.

Someone asked why they aren't targeting other statues to which you replied:
Probably because they were black. Something that BLM seem to ignore

Wizard politely asked which statues of black slave traders have not been toppled after you went on some vague rant about Africa's side of the slave trade.

You apparently don't see the point of that question. If there was a statue of a black slave trader in Bristol, it would probably be in a river too, because:
  1. The anger is directed at British slave traders.
  2. Because these particular protesters live in Britain.
British slave traders were mostly, incidentally, white.

Hopefully you see now how Wizard's question was a specific question with a simple answer, and your rambling spiel blaming black people and Africa was, in fact, the thing utterly that was utterly unrelated to any argument people are having in this thread.

Thank you mate. Was about to reply to him but now I don’t have to as you put it better than I would have.

Hang on, I sent a direct reply to someone asking about who started slavery and I replied BLM won't bother with that as they would have been black. Which they were
