The tories hid their extremists by the creation of the UKIP and brexit party.
Im afraid Labour has to do similar to get elected or there will be another SDP for the central left.
The fracture in Labour will happen it’s just a case of where it happens and how many votes fall either side of it.
Which would result in more Tory election wins.

The extremists in the Tory party wanted to repatriate black people, wave the Union Jack in non-white faces until they felt uncomfortable, and scrap benefits from those who need them. The 'extremists' in the Labour Party want free broadband and nationalised rail - stop with the false equivalence.

If you had said about twenty five year ago that's what would happen , and labour would lose scotland and huge chunks of the north they would have thought you had gone crazy.
Last three elections we have gone into elections with leaders who most thought outside of the party were unelectable, and they were right.
The far left have all but killed this party and yet they want more of the same .
Need a complete change of course before it's to late, that's if it isnt already..

The far left that weren’t in charge for when Scotland was lost, or when millions of votes in the north were lost?

The equivalence is that they're both political extremes; the equivalence isn't in what they do at those extremes.

Possibly some slightly good signs in Scotland, although it looks like there might be some tactical votes to back the party closest to SNP?

Labour were up 10 in a seat near Glasgow but Tories were also up almost 10 in Aberdeen. Might just be a coincidence but looks like it might be tactical

I think you need to look a little further to the left than that.
I understood the Labour Party stood for the ‘working person’ giving opportunities to all to get a ‘fair days pay’ but now I feel slightly disaffected.
I served my time as an apprentice, bought a house, pay tax etc etc - Do I think the Labour Party today still represent me?
We need a set of policies that help those who need it but also encourage those who don’t need it to stay a Labour voter and improve the status for all.
Too often Labour activists right off the views of anyone who doesn’t need help as being Tory.

Who are you counting as an extremist then?
And do they all write them off? What do you mean by this?
