most people would rather have Boris Johnson sitting across a dinner table from them than Keir Starmer. Johnson looks like be able to strike up an interesting conversation and tell a few good stories. Keir Starmer would tell you about the time he pulled a pickle out of his backside.

Businesses aren't the issue. The working class are, and the LP haven't cut through to it since Corbyn's 2017 election performance.

They're not. But being against it is and because Burnham aligns himself central and is a product of Blair, your left idealists hate him for even thinking of being chummy with big business rather than seeing it as a necessary evil.

And you're right. Working class has been forgotten about. Corbyn did a masterstroke by turning old pit towns into Tory wins.

The Tories getb through to those people against their best interests because:

1/ they own the media and they create the narrative
2/ the opposition dont reveal that and try and instead work in those parameters
