Too far gone for just him going being the solution surely?

I don't think so, no - there is still the lack of an obvious replacement, and the "advisors" are that bad.

If he binned them off and didn't replace them at all, or replaced them with a selection of half-full vacuum cleaner bags, things for him would improve - probably by quite a bit. These people are awful, serial failures at politics; if they were a type of breakfast cereal they'd be corpse shavings served in a bowl of pus.

If he replaced them with people who understood and can articulate a sensible set of policies then he'd probably be at least up and around where he was last summer and facing the problem of the media starting to attack him because he's a threat to the person they compromised themselves for.

TBF he needs to go if he still thinks the people around him are in any way competent - for a start, if Labour do get hammered in the elections they'll be the ones stabbing him in the back.

Yeah, at the very least a major reshuffle needs to happen and a rethink about how he’s getting advised.

Dont think there’s any demographic of voter Labour can rely on now.

I supported and voted for him in the leadership race.

I’m behind the Labour Party and wanting it to be better.

Again, what are these policies you’re a fan of?

The problem is Saint Jeremy was a Left Wingers wet dream therefore the leadership job to succeed him was always going to be a poisoned chalice particularly for a Centrist like Sir Keir.

Trust in Sir Keir and his pledges, he'll deliver the goods IF people get behind him. Its a marathon not a sprint yet people want him blowing his load 3 years before the election.

Do you not feel a bit ridiculous telling people who voted Starmer in to this position to get behind him? They've done more actively to support him than you have or will. I doubt you'll be doorstepping like many of us this local election campaign.

What policies of his are you so supportive of?

3 years until the big one - get behind the man and give him time to clean up the mess and in fighting Saint Jeremy left behind.

Local elections are more important than the general in many ways.

He’s losing votes to the Lib Dem’s and greens according to the latest numbers. Which would suggest a breakdown in the liberal, middle class vote.

This isn’t an issue with the left getting behind him. It’s a problem of him giving people nothing to get behind.

You can’t name any of his policies. Nobody can because there’s been no policy drive to speak of.

We dont need them fools anyway as they'll be back in their droves to Labour in the General Election as they and we all know its a 2 horse race - the voters he needs to be winning back are by and large former Labour voters who turned Blue over Brexit/distrust of Saint Jeremy - and he'll do that in time.

He's already told you his pledges and what he'll be fighting for - he's got to clean sweep the party after the mess Saint Jeremy left behind on top of trying to not political point score during a global pandemic.

Give him time to sort us out - the alternative is we'll get rid of him, appoint some momentum patsy full of "progressive policies and character" who'll not be able to bring back the defectors and we'll lose yet another election.

It is clear you have absolutely no knowledge or understanding of the Labour Party. What clean sweep? Of who? What Momentum patsy? Holding progressive policies and character is the VERY least anyone should be able to expect as leader of Labour. Holding someone to account isn't political point scoring and it wouldn't be seen like that apart from people who are already firmly Tory.

How will he win them back? What is he doing? Your desire to pin everything at the feet of Corbyn and not move on shows what limited understanding you have of the party. I'm also not entirely sure

Take some time to read what Sir Keir stands for and his pledges/promises of what he'll attempt to deliver in the next general election instead of stamping your feet that he's not standing in parliment screaming "MURDERER" at Johnson all the time whilst making promises that he may not be able to deliver in a post Covid landscape.

3 years from now is a long time - im glad he isn't comitting to anything just at this stage we don't know what life will look like in 6 months never mind 3+ years from now with this Pandemic.

I'm not asking, and nor are most, for him to shout that. Many are saying he should be doing more to hold their feet to the fire regarding quite clear corruption and not to come across so much as a wet blanket with little to mark him out as a politician or LOTO. 3 years is not a long time, it's an incredibly short time if you are trying to overhaul a Tory majority, put in to place progressive policies that the public can understand, and place yourself as someone who can lead the country.
