If you didn't know who he was and you landed in 2021 from a decade ago you'd swear he was the Tory or UKIP leader.

Regardless, he’s most probably our next PM, this government won’t be afforded a full term, certainly not a second based upon gross negligence and I suspect he knows it ...

It's a bit simple gimmick, however, that's where a significant number of vote is at, think Brexit think Johnson 80 seat majority, just astute pragmatism.
No point in isolating them for your opposition to harvest.

It's a national flag, not a political party's. A government have it, not the Tory Party. And the LP arer not in government.

To use it outside that context - as per Starmer - is a dog whistle to Brexiteers and those supporting anti-immigration.

What's wrong with our flag, Dave?

I think used to be an unwritten convention that mainstream parties didn't use the flag in promoting their party and the BNP used to be frowned upon for doing it. It seems to have fallen by the wayside over the last 20 years or so.

Or I could be suffering from the Mandela effect. Sure someone can put me straight on this.
