Imagine expecting this feller to do the right thing and actually organise his party to protect people being slain by a government mishandling a pandemic...

Oh Dave

So, I'm not sure of the point. Do you think we should have ordinary people as PM? And can you describe ordinary?

I think it almost impossible for any PM, and I cannot think of one who could understand the needs or lives of the millions who like to go for a pint, or go to a football match, even getting some fish and chips. Whenever a senior Politician attempts to be ‘one of the lads’ it goes wrong. Remember Mandelson and the one about the time he went down to his Hartlepool constituency intent on being one of the lads. The lads went for fish and chips and Mandelson spotted a side order of mid-green hue. "Guacamole!" he is said to have remarked delightedly about the mushy peas...

You're ridiculous. I actually think your avatar might be your passport photo.
I like how angry you get when people point out your obvious schoolboyesque crush on her.

She’s not up to much nowadays, why not give her a call? Her husband will be some vegan socialist weenie, with the amount of miles you do on your bike to check on people not complying with COVID regs you’ll be able to boot him high in the air and sweep darling Rebecca up in your arms as reward.

Just seen his latest video: backgrounded with Union Jack and stressing the hardship to businesses.

If you didn't know who he was and you landed in 2021 from a decade ago you'd swear he was the Tory or UKIP leader.

Terrible video background, some naff blocked up fireplace and a badly folded Union flag. Obviously he went for a Pm type look but really just managed a Max Headroom.....

Turning the screw, constantly ahead of Johnson, consistently making him look like the idiot he is.
Hmmm wouldn't agree with that general assessment - his messaging has been all over the place.

Is he now advocating that schools close after spending the past fortnight putting pressure on the gov to keep them open? I thought it was downright embarrassing for Jeremy Hunt (of all people) to come out and actively call for closure of schools ahead of the *actual* Leader of the Opposition.

He hasn't been proactive with his calls over the past nine months from what I've seen, rather he's (mostly) demanded inevitable policy be implemented four hours prior to them being announced by the gov - meanwhile, the horse had bolted long ago...
