I will agree that he is, so far, pretty, well, grey.

He doesnt seem to be that great as a communicator, nor that "followable". Hologram is a pretty good description.

But the wider point I was making, and have made before, is that the internal fighting in the LP is a huge turn off for many.

Give me John Smith any day of the week.
Political parties have factions. That's just the way of it.

Who's asking him to do better? The minority in the party who want a leader who's frothing at the mouth at anything not considered "Left Wing/Liberal?"

The party encompasses a large group of people and this minority think they have some higher standing within the party to be demanding this and demanding that of the leader.

Sir Keir is the Leader not Dead Soft or Owen Jones so fall in line for the greater good or keep damaging the parties chances of winning the next election.

YEah, none of this is how any of this works. There's no one frothing. No one saying they have higher standing.

'Fall in line' and he complained about Corbyn being a Commie.

I'll say it: there's something anti-black (or at the very least, indifference toward them) about Starmer; and whatsmore he has induced a feeling of insecurity amongst black people in the Labour Party. A lot of black and Asian members of the party have raised their unease with his leadership.

This is potentially a big problem for the Hologram.

Cheeky young sausage, here.

Oh, so suddenly we’re supposed to get behind the leader of the Labour Party and not try to undermine him at every opportunity?

Where were you all over the last four years when Corbyns own shadow cabinet we’re sticking the knife in any chance they could.

The leader of the party should always be held to account by its members. He’s sat there and enabled a disgusting rant and not challenged it.

He should be called out and he should explain why he’s happy to let those views go unchallenged. It is important to a lot of people that the leader of the Labour Party challenges prejudice whenever they are confronted with it.

If only you'd been able to do something to affect this....

Im a man of principle - if you dont like the leader or direction of the party then dont vote its simple. But to do the job of the Tory press and undermine the party for them for me is scandalous.

Anyone who does that puts ideology before loyalty to the party.

Its like hoping Everton get relegated because you dont like the manager - by all means stop going the games but you dont wish ill on the club.

I thought you were parroting some of the accusations towards Corbyn like a cheeky scamp

Football analogies fall down a lot in politics. It's not the same, because by not going to the Everton match you aren't helping to ensure 5 more years of disastrous Tory rule, you're just ensuring 90 mins away from watching Stuart Barlow miss again

That would be doing a Brown live on air which Sir Keir intelligently avoided but the militant minority are furious he didn't give the Right Wing press ammo to use against him/the party to drum up further Tory support.

As Roydo said no one was arsed or even noticed that he didn't pull up that radio caller the only negative press thats been generated / the incident highlighted is from clowns like Owen Jones who have now created a storm in a teacup for their own agenda.

And that fella calls himself a Labour "supporter"

Imagine being so silly that you call standing up against racism ‘doing a Brown’

It was a bad miss tbf - obv you don't fully engage with a cretin like that, because it would just be an exercise in cuntology. But it still needed a hard rebuke in a couple of sentences, next caller pls. This is trivial for someone like SKS - like it's a complete full toss begging to be flayed to the boundary, so I'm surprised he fluffed it.
