You haven't a clue have you? She was a bigot.

Cant remember what she said mate but Brown calling people bigots over concerns of immigration was never going to go down well with the working class masses.

Brown pressed the self destruct button and Labour is only just recovering from that debacle.

Can't speak for everybody but myself and many of my friends only started caring about Politics due to Corbyn and his policies
I stated this earlier. Corbyn was toxic to many but also helped politicise a whole new group of people who may look at different options now.
Labour should be miles ahead in the polls yet the fact they’re not may mean they’ve lost some supporters as well as gained

Same here, it bewilders me. Like I feel if I supported Starmer, many in here, Real Labour if you like, would hate me. And until recently, I was part of the fabled working class, and am currently in the role of living via the welfare state.

People always hate/disagree with others for their political views. Nothing to do with Corbyn or Labour - it´s just how politics is in general.

Corbyn suspended.

Thats disgraceful

On reflection given the two statements (Starmer and Corbyn) it was inevitable, and be amazed if there was no communication and outline of responses then outcome. It's a good move by Corbyn he is going to have his say in this discipline procedure.

I dont hate anyone I know, other wise I wouldnt know them, and I havnt a clue what their politics are.

I dont hate Corbyn, I am sure he is quite an agreeable chap, which most MPs tend to be, outside the game as it were.

But the venom from some on here towards folk they disagree with is palpable.

I think the outlook for democracy in this country looks pretty bleak right now. You´ve got a solid 40% of people who it seems are always going to vote Tory no matter what, which means due to first past the post, they are pretty much unbeatable right now.

The opposition is split into groups that apart from hating the Tories have very little in common. You have socialists, Blairite third way proponents and nationalist movements. None of them have any interest in working together so for the time being it seems there´s very little option out there.

"Concerns over immigration"? A lot of folk thought that "they should all be sent home" and that "all the non white people are taking our jobs, don't let any more of them in"
What do you think eh?

There's an element of truth in it, humans are instinctively focused on the betterment of themselves and their family - but there's an awful lot more to it.
I tell you one thing.
The tories effed up brexit, they effed up their handling of a pandemic and they even managed to eff up FSM.

and yet, Labour still balls it up. An utter shambles of a party. They don’t deserve to be in power.

takes some doing to some how make that tories look good. Idiots.

Again, that´s politics in general. Go onto the Facebook of your typical right wing Brexiteer and you´ll see posts calling for socialists to be hanged. I´d only hope in real life they´re a bit more reasonable.

Since moving away from Liverpool, I´ve met plenty of people who I don´t agree with. Never fallen out or held any animosity towards them. Might have muttered scum under my breath once or twice when they couldn´t hear but even the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party does that so you can´t hold it against me :D

I totally agree with that... but, unless Rishi Sunak takes over from Boris, I see Keir comfortably winning next time. Polls aren't worth looking at during a crisis as people lend sympathy to the government. I suspect in 18 months the polls will look an awful lot different.

Labours problem will be if the Scots keep voting for those nationalists in Kilts SNP.

If they stop listening to Sturgeons propaganda and vote Labour we have a chance to get rid of the Tories next election.

No chance. Labour will always find a way to balls it up. That’s the point.

Despite the list of eff ups in the last 12-24 months, they have somehow managed to put the focus on Corbyn. AGAIN.

They couldn’t organise a **** in a brewery.

I think history shows that the Labour Party has always been a wide coalition of very differing views. Probably no different to the Tory Party but they do a better job of showing a united front.
