Just looking at the comments online it seems like a pretty 50/50 split. I think the idea of a civil war is overstated though. The left lacks any power in the PLP so the worst thing that will happen for Starmer is thousands of members will leave, which let's be honest he won't be too bothered about.

Wasn't convinced on Starmer at first especially with his daft taking the knee selfie but he's started to grow on me.

Hopefully he does the right thing and takes us to the centre where Labour should be and lets beat the Tories.
