He is also quieter, and we all know what happens to quieter people.

If Boris Johnson shouts at him he will start crying and curl into a ball. He has no personality and no arrogance, at least Corbyn could hold his own and give some back which is what the public wants to see.

Only a matter of time before some bigger personality's in the labour party start coming after starmer and it wont be too hard to displace him either, he will fold at the first sign of an attack

Judging by the results in the last election, you're very wrong. Corbyn was too polarising for people. There were things he done very, very well but equally there were some very simple things he missed or didn't take enough responsibility for.

Like a post above stated, Starmer is exactly what the labour party needs right now. Not another Momentum-worshipper. There would be no good from him shouting and hollering all over the house, he's going about it the right way and it's up to the media to then start reporting these wins and publicising them.

Corbyn couldn't be trusted, had met with "bad people", and his manifesto was never going to happen in real life and the alienated the Jewish people and the poor stance on Brexit. It was too much Come back from.

But in terms of going up against Boris Johnson he was second to none, any mistake was pounced on and Johnson was ripped to pieces.

I’m shocked that during this crisis on occasion I’ve found piers Morgan saying something I agreed with as I aim to set my my position as the total opposite of whatever he says . I find that particular poster , on whatever the topic , is probably the best example on this forum of the piers Morgan effect

Starmer is pragmatic enough to be seen as electable by enough of the population. Corbyn wasn't.

Labour need to be much more interested in what the public wants than what the membership wants. I think Starmer recognises this and I think hes doing well.

Keir Starmer is infinitely smarter than johnson, that much is very clear but who knows what it will lead to
Embarrassingly so. The number of deaths with this virus will speak for itself, so no real need to take this fight to the media, keep this clinical... I suppose we will need to see the policy in the years ahead.

You sound like Cleveland Williams pre Ali fight... Johnson ended up like Williams.

Starmer carefully (forensic) dismantling Johnson hubris is the way forward. It would serve no purpose going in hard currently mid crisis, it would just galvanise flag waving nut jobs. The emotional gnashing of teeth can be left to us foot soldiers, or media as and when...
