I backed labour with Corbyn and i'm actually more optimistic under Starmer. He's a bit more level-headed and whilst not as gung-ho, is asking the right questions and holding the PM to account here.

He coasts right through them. That's because everyone knows he doesn;t do detail. There's no damage done here playing on Tory terms. Johnson is hopeless when attacked. He does not like that personal confrontation and flounders. Starmer's 'forensic' style is easy for him to sidestep by simply saying stuff like "I share your frustrations over delays etc etc"

And so it begins for Boris. I thoroughly expect Starmer will tie him in knots regularly and more so once things move closer to normality. At last it looks like we have a credible leader.

I'd expect him to not reiterate his pleasantaries over and over again. He did the welcome back stuff last week.

The Tories will eat his nonsense up all day. They laugh at facts and figures. Starmer plays to their strengths.

The need is for language that fits the bill....between 30,000 and 50,000 have been killed in the last two months. That needs to be forcefully shoved down the Tory's faces.
