"Theresa May's government from 2017 to 2019 was defeated on 33 divisions in the House of Commons. Furthermore, to prevent recorded defeats, May's government typically whipped to abstain on non-binding Opposition Day motions it did not envisage winning on division."

"Boris Johnson's government in 2019 until the general election in December was defeated on 12 divisions in the House of Commons."

But ok.

This makes Corbyn's leadership all the more impressive. He inflicted defeats on the government despite the massed ranks of traitors of traitors behind him.
I may get laughed at, but he's up there with Tony Benn with greatest PMs we never had.

Maybe not, but the Monarchy, like the Tory party, have been a cancer on British society for centuries.
That's a different issue.

This feller Johnson has blood up to his elbows, and there's Starmer congratulating him and empathising with the 'kin monstor.

He's a disgrace.

Can't really disagree with you, Dave. I think Starmer is a decent bloke but he just doesn't seem leadership material. He'd make a good Home Secretary or Attorney General. Clive Lewis would have been my choice. A good socialist with fire in his belly.

He should’ve been put in the position RLB was.

I don’t mind starmer and want he said at PMQ’s. He knows what he’s doing. He’ll pick his time to go all in.

Hahahahahahahahaha.............’all the more impressive’......’traitors behind him’......the only thing he has in common with Wedgwood Benn is that he is a champagne socialist......

anyone else get the weird feeling, that labour v tory is like us going up against RS at Anfield?
It is and it isn't - the RS have some great players and a world class manager, that's just a sad fact. I bet you don't look at the Tories and think we're out of our league here, too much quality on display. I mean no one thinks that and that eventually counts for something. Half of Blair battering the Tories from pillar to post was that they were really really weak and the electorate can be keenly aware of that.

If you look at a demographic voting map by age group that would be another thing that is very far from playing the RS at the pit. Quite the opposite, you'd be thinking we're going to tank these 8-0, it'll be a massacre.

But then you consider the mainstream media, newspapers and political journalists overtly aligned against labour and yeah, we're massively on the back foot there and does feel like a trip to Anfield with a secret Koppite as the referee.
I think there was the hope that social media and newer ways of communicating would have buried the old newspaper influence (relates to what I said above about demographics) but that doesn't appear to have happened. Or at least not in any simple way as social media appears to be a giant cauldron of [Poor language removed] that is manipulated every which way.
