Not nearly enough. That Tory scum breezed through without being nailed on face masks and the HanCOCK "guarantee" to have 100,000 tests per day by end of April. The toady little get was sent out to get the message across that the target is/was just an ambition.

Nandy shouldn't be doing this stuff, she isn't a scientist or medical, and her portfolio is for foreign affairs. Mind you, I wouldn't put that 'kin mess Ashworth on there either, and he IS shadow health secretary...and a useless get to boot.

Labour need to massively increase the volume of criticism.

Labour.

Funny you should mention Ashworth, was watching the news on BBC 2 earlier and saw Hancock having a Q and A regarding certain aspects of the handling of the crisis with, surreal this................Jeremy Hunt! Where was Ashworth or anyone else from any Party other than the Conservative Party.

Labour starting to appear conspicuous by their absence.

They seem to ant to stay off the pace and to not go after the Tories. Maybe they dont want to get drawn into a quasi national government which would alloow the Tories to share the blame with them.

I think we've gone past all that. The death rate is shocking and I want Labour out there tanning the arses of these Tory butchers and their lies.

Just criticise and offer no solutions??

I believe they have done that. But it's not enough.

The country needs to have its official opposition to challenge what's been done so far. There's way too much non-partisan comment. Look at the US where the Democrats are (rightly) kicking the nuts off the President.

The Tory Party are also the official Opposition.....well no one else is doing it.....

Starmer's donations for his leadership campaign, including

BTW, the hedge fund manager Martin Taylor character was involved in funding a Blairite campaign to oust Corbyn back in 2016.

Starmer sold himself as a man on the left...and the mugs in the membership fell for it.

....unless I’m getting confused with something else, that was a Commons Select Committee chaired by Hunt. Jonathan Ashworth isn’t part of that forum, but plenty of Labour MPs were asking questions (Yvette Cooper, Rosie Cooper and others).

There are lots of cross-party Select Committees, many chaired by Labour MPs who question Ministers, officials and private individuals to ensure accountability.

For what it’s worth, I like Ashworth and was encouraged he wasn’t part of the shadow-Cabinet cull of deadwood.

The doctor was the most impressive panelist I thought she really ripped into them
I thought she sat on the fence on major issues. Offered this failing government a lifeline on 'contradictory' viewpoints on face masks. She knows as well as anyone that if ALL people wear them they have an impact...a dramatic one.

I'd be VERY surprised if the government weren't dictating who gets on Question Time.

Buckland the Tory on that panel was frightening in his attitude....which shouldn't surprise anyone given that he's overseen a catastrophe in the Prisons of this country. A monstor of a man.

From what I saw it was just Hunt asking questions of Hancock via video link, nobody else was involved. The BBC, to me, now appear to be the propaganda arm of the Conservative Party since Johnson threatened to pull the plug on the licence fee. Money talks.
