Pointing out the mask has slipped regards Labour and the left in general. They only care about minorities that are on message.

I'm not going to tell Jewish people whether their experience of anti Semitism is real or not. But I recall her office getting graffitied and her getting hate mail when she was my MP back in 2000, I think it goes beyond Corbyn.

I'm sure anti Semitism is real, however, I would sit up and take notice if it weresomeone like Lansman... I strongly suspect Ellman has other angles... But thanks for the straw man...

When one of the first responses to her resignation is 'HAHA ISRAEL TOLD YOU TO DO IT!1!' it's clear as day that there's still an underlying problem within some (not ALL) Labour supporters still equate someone being a Jew with someone being controlled directly by Israel.

There's so much underlying racism that seems to have unconciously been copied - 'the controlled media' is a trope which harks back to the 'Jews control the media' conspiracy. The money lenders are barstewards - again, work backwards. A lot needs untangling.

Should people not speak out on anti Semitism if it makes Corbyn look bad? Is that what you think her primary motivation is?

Whatever our disagreement on her motivation, I hope we can agree that she has been the brunt of some awful stuff during her career.

Not sure you have actually listened to her today, I'm more than convinced anti Semitism was just convenient stone to throw to achieve a wider agenda. Which is sad. Something so important should not be used in conjunction with general political agenda in mind.

She herself triggered a reselection process some time ago, knowing reselection was coming and one she was unlikely to win...

Anyone who supports Corbyn who happens to be Jewish is routinely ignored and laughed at, I sincerely doubt many if any, people's intentions with anti Semitism and Corbyns Labour ability to deal with it.

We've been here before. It's about as ridiculous a position as saying you dont want to hear the word semite because it's anti-semitic.

Zionism is a political creed adhered to by many fundamentalist Jews.

To censor that word is a slippery slope.

There is also an anti Zionist movement within Israel itself led by Jewish clerics who condemn the ethnic cleansing taking place. I guess they must be anti Semitic too.
