All he'll do is split the labour vote...but not sure how close the lib dems are so that will actually matter
And at 77 he might've even got 'asked' on the quite to 'reluctantly, blar, blar, etc' to step aside.
Edit; maybe thats why he did it?
It's the fifteenth safest Labour seat with a majority of over 25,000 and 76.9% of the vote - Lib Dems got 2.6%. So both Field and the Tory lites have no chance.

Frank Field's launch of his new 'party' not exactly off to a stellar start.

It’ll be interesting to see how it goes. Field has represented them well for a lot of years, but the old adage of just putting a red rosette on a pig will probably ensure the new lad wins.......

Exactly, and are tory MP deselections in the cases of Nick Boles and Alan Duncan bigged up with scary words like Stalinist purge

Trumps and the media is not really comparable to Corbyn as hes quite clearly fascistic and leads it

Just because I can't recall anything doesn't mean it hasn't happened. I don't keep an exhaustive watch on what Johnson says and does :-)

The same happened at the tory leadership hustings when Boris Johnson was asked about the fight in his house, not heard him and the tory party called a cult before?

What did they say at the hustings?

I would call any of them a cult tbh if they try to shut down a straight forward and reasonable question, especially by saying what a disgrace and then still harking on afterwards.

Corbyn is big and ugly enough to answer that question on his own.
