If Labour continue to sit on the fence then I'm afraid the Lib Dems are the main party of opposition.
I have heard they may have a bus for their next conference Bruce , but you are correct the lid Dems , the Greens , and the Brexit party will mop up votes with the two main parties losing out - the opposition should be making hay - instead of having splinters in their bums..... = poor leadership...imo

Because they don't support a hard brexit that nobody voted for?

This makes no sense. This isn’t who won a raffle prize, this is the future of the country. Out had no set idea, it wasn’t an option of ‘leave with no deal in place for the country’
All the pros and cons dropped through my door in a government leafletcosting the Taxpayer £9 million it was clear to me and 17.4 million others...'.

It's not about pros and cons, it's about deal or no deal. Why are you being so obtuse? This is important. This particular point is not about leaving or not, it's about leaving WITH a deal that is beneficial to the country or leaving WITHOUT a deal.

If I go on holiday, and I book travel insurance because I want to be prepared, I am still going on holiday.
If I leave a job and I ensure I have done everything right that I get my gardening leave and full pay, I am still leaving my job.
If I divorce my partner because they are boggled why I argue with obtuse gardeners on the internet, and I ensure I can still see my children, and that both of us are in the best position possible when it's over, I'm still divorcing my partner.

Okay

If I go to the ballot box, vote for Labour, who win by a narrow margin, I accept that not everything I want will happen, and that doesn't mean they are riding roughshod over the will of the electorate, but actually enacting it in our parliamentary democracy. Politics isn't about just pleasing those whose side 'won', especially when that side is made up of hundreds of different views.

Well you want the result reversed like so many others before we have left ...

Jeez Louise, this isn't about the result being reversed, why do you refuse to read or interact with what was actually stated?

Then Parliament should have voted for a different question to be put to the electorate. Politicians chose the question, the voters merely responded. Then the same Politicians tried to muddy the water with Hard, Soft and whatever else Brexit. They set it, we voted it, get on with it....Tory and Labour....

Well Pete, in the campaigning prior to the referendum all the talk from leave campaigners was of staying in the single market was it not?

Maybe they should have done but that doesn't change the situation we are in now.
Trying to make sense of a complex decision isn't muddying the waters, it's accepting this situation is more complex than it looks.
