So this lot if they end up making a proper party will stop labour from winning an election in future as while they won't win the seats they currently have against a new Labour candidate they will take enough of a percentage of the vote across the country to mean Labour can't win the vital swing seats that decide elections like the ones across the Midlands.

Whatever happens with Brexit there's a decent chance that the Tories will end up splitting, so there's always hope.
