Her words were that one of the motions of no confidence came from 'an anti-Semitic 9/11 truther' so that may be a part. Like I said, she's involved in local politics.

Either way, the comment I heard shows the extent of the disharmony in the labour movement if they're so willing to lambaste their own, even at a grass roots level.

It is, and if that is what he is then he should really be dealt with. I am not sure how labelling the entire CLP as bullies because of what he did solves anything though.

Keep up the good work lads. We have the worst government in living memory, yet Corbyn is still so loved. I await what I call the @peteblue defence, that surveys, polls and all that aren't infallible so must be definitely wrong coz they disagree with me.

If there is a criticism of the CLP, it’s that motions of no confidence are clumsy tools for these times.

What they should have done (if possible) is asked any Labour MP who is mooting that they might quit to join a new party whether or not they are. If they are, or if they don’t confirm it either way, the CLP should be well within its rights to look for a new candidate.

I have mentioned in other places that the likes of Wavertree CLP need to have a bit more nous how they go about this. It should be crystal clear this was due to constant attacking of Corbyn and the underwhelming support for labour policy.
Those with an agenda to usurp the policies endorsed by conference should be asked to put up or shut up
It was ironic that some called for the withdrawal of the motions on the basis they were divisive and energies should be spent attacking tory policies. Heavy, heavy irony...

You'd rather Corbyn sold his beliefs away cynically to meet approval ratings? Whether or not you agree with his beliefs and brexit has seen my support of him slip somewhat, I still greatly admire his refusal to step down into the gutter from where he is being desperately targeted

I've said before, that right now I value competence more than ideology, and I'm not sure Corbyn is in the slightest bit competent as a leader. Only this morning you had Tom Watson talking about a second referendum, despite Corbyn doing all he can to rule it out over the past six months. As you know, I don't hold much sway in the public to decide on much in the political world, but it is nonetheless hard to shake the view that the two parties that our political system ensures will be in office at each election are in a terrible state.

Some of the most vicious leaders of all time were competent men beholden to no ideology, I'm sure they were very efficient leaders in a ruthlessly cynical, self serving sort of way.

How has he said he would rule out a second referendum over the past six months?

Ideally they'd be competent with a decent philosophy, but at the moment, neither leader is remotely competent.

 He's been about as supportive of it as he was for remain during the campaign itself. We'll have a second referendum if hell freezes over and Everton win the league. "Corr blimey, that means it's still on," say Corbynites on GOT.

Corbyn would deliver soft Brexit with his five point plan. And does not rulr out another referendum out. Even Blair conceeds that point on soft brexit.

There is no EU referendum pending because MPs communication with their constituents is not saying that, if it were we would have had one. Hopefully they get banned and put the loony tunes back in their boxes

And some reaction to Corbyn 5 point plan, Donald Tusk, “suggested that the Corbyn plan could be a promising way out of the impasse”. Meanwhile, EU Brexit coordinator Guy Verhofstadt welcomed Corbyn’s letter saying “there is at last hope of a heavenly solution”.

It's over to Tory Government and their party. If they can't handle it, call an election.
