Why ?…..
14,years of inept government, the decimation of public services, the widening gap between the haves and have nots, the system stacked against the less well off in society, the lies, corruption, deceit and general attitude and demeanour of a government who appeared to believe they could do what they like whilst in charge rather than doing the actual job they’re supposed to doing and serving the countries best interests,,,,,, I could go on and on … but that will do for starters

When pensioners raise a fuss about their £300 year benefit being cut, whilst vilifying people on general benefits and not caring that many peoples mortgage and rents have risen £300 £400 £500 per month and more.

Whilst supporting the party responsible for interest rises and that has been cutting everything but channelling money to their supporters, it's hard to care that much That demographic has been the strongest supporters of the party that has been power the past 14 years.

The party whose governments have been racking up debt whilst cutting spending. Maybe pensioners should ask, how did those Tory government manage to leave the finances thus...

If you like, given the recent attacks, you could also ponder whether a decent cybersecurity person would go work for the NHS on 30k a year - https://uk.indeed.com/q-cyber-security-nhs-jobs.html?vjk=8d8a865b5b28ff51 or a financial firm on 50% more - https://uk.indeed.com/q-cyber-security-l-london-jobs.html?vjk=e1fa273dda935c69&advn=9693951495059942
There was a similar story about a very senior cyber security post for the civil service/govt being offered 57k per year (it was derided).

Well Labour kicked off HS2 and Sunak killed it, but you know that, right…….
That isn’t true though is it?
A Department of Transport study looked at High Speed Rail Links in 2009 (under Labour). It was reviewed and given the go ahead (or “ kicked off”) by Cameron in 2010, Completely mismanaged by various Tory governments until quietly sidelined by an embarrassed Sunak ( even then Boris was still trumpeting for it).

One based in Scotland, one based in London. Perhaps we should force the reduction of pay in London to line up with the rest of the country. Again, not a good example of a ‘comparison’…….

‘You’ is grammatically plural… but perhaps instead of being upset on someone else’s behalf we can get back on track…….
I was wondering what “track” you are on. It just looks like swinging wildly at everything Labour because you’re fretting about your inheritance. For the few, not the many, now being dismantled.
