It’s also not a Tory policy. Labour introduced the 2 year rule with the Gender Recognition Act in 2004.

The whole idea of 'Labour's' plans for transgender recognition was to "simplify" the means for that. That's what they've promised prior to the election. Have they done that? No, they've left all the obstacles in place, including the waiting time for recognition and the fact that they'll need to be sat in judgment of by 'experts'.

The man was top dog for the CPS, he's utterly and totally despised. In any other Quantum leap he's neck deep in the tory party, I refer to my earlier remark that he has the manner of a startled C3PO. But he's the closest thing to what I want. Quiet competence. I want a studious mind pouring over the data and making decisions as best they can. I want honesty, integrity and capability. If I wanted a pint out and a laugh and a racist jaunt down memory lane I'd look to farage or boris, I want the era of celebrity politicians over and done with.
If Starmer has to be the caster oil of the bitter medicine that undoes so much of what is wrong, then so be it. It is easy answers and quick fixes that have gotten us here, the tonic will be painful and some will waver, the 'alright Jacks' will scream the loudest, this is modern britain, a third world entity playing on its long forgotten history.

I mean some people must I guess. Most people I know are voting Labour but arent particularly fans. If someone told me they were a big starmer fan I’d actually consider that weirder than being a big Farage fan.

I’m not a huge fan at all but I just want this Tory government gone so will vote for Labour. There is no other alternative that can get them out and so that’s what I’ll do. Then I just hope when they are in power they might make some positive changes. But even if they don’t make a big difference I don’t think it will be anywhere near as bad as what this Conservative Party will do.

Read the links I’ve posted. Are you at least willing to admit that the 2 years aspect of the gender recognition certificate is originally a Labour Policy not a Tory Policy? From a time when you voted for the Labour Party? I’ve given you the link. Or are you just using transgender issues as as something to use against Starmer rather than actually caring about the issue at hand?
