Not cut and dried , the membership might want that but vast swathes of labour voters in the north want to leave, not a hope on hell of labour doing anything without them, Corbyn knows it as well.
Aye he’d probably be happy with a second referendum at this stage but can’t be seen to back it wholeheartedly as he’d run the risk of alienating thousands of voters. I imagine we will get a second referendum at some point and he’ll take a back seat in the campaigning thus trying to keep everyone happy and maximise his chances in a GE.
Can’t see labour winning a GE mind

Sadly that last line on your post as much as I don't want it is more than likely the outcome.

What would a second referendum do if leave win back to square one, if remain win the leavers will want another one at some stage and have the added momentum of the result of the first one not getting through.
If one side or the other just said we are staying in, the other we are going out on a GE might break the deadlock.
I haven't a clue mate to be honest.

I have the utmost confidence Remain would win. There will be a fair sized group who have switched from Leave to Remain (not many will have switched the other way). Add to this the chunk of Leave voting dotards who will have snuffed it by now (God rest their souls).

A general election would also be a good idea but I can see the Tories clinging onto power any which way they can.

I am one of those dotards mate.
I don't know anyone who has changed and the polls reflect that.
Last time remaining was supposed to be odds on look how that worked out.

Leave the people have died remarks out not good form.
People like my man who died voted out and passed away less than a year a go shouldn't be really a target for scoring political points off,
they were old and now dead one less vote let's rejoice,
Really has it got that bad?
plus as far as I know death dosnt decriminate on leave or stay grounds or age for that matter it's not just the old who die over the last few years so its a pretty stupid statement really.

Not rejoicing at anyone’s death. Just pointing out that the the elderly generation were more likely to vote leave, and there will now be less of them. Unpalatable, but true. Young people are more likely to vote Remain, and there will now be more of them eligible to vote, which compounds the effect.

I haven’t seen any polls which suggest Leave would still win, but maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough.

There is about a 3 point difference the last few I has seen.
Plus you would have about as much chance of getting the young out to vote historically as I have of raising the dead.
Be a refreshing change in some ways if the young did actually got to the polls, after the last couple of government s not much to get them excited about really.

The ‘Oh Jeremy Corbyn’ has gone. The feelgood factor of promising everything to everyone coupled with the tories shooting themselves in the foot is no more. Now it’s all about the E.U. and who should manage the U.K. through it. Corbyn would be destroyed in a GE.......

As you know Pete , I am voting for them anyway, actually don't mind listening to him at all despite my misgivings about the party, and his leadership skills .
But do I think he will win an election.?
Honestly no , can't see it

I think he’s lost that little bit of sparkle that he had, he has little to offer other than to oppose and the weather would also be against him.......

To be honest Pete, he appeals to members of the party more than the wider electorate ,
I haven't seen any sign of him making in roads to the voters he would need to swing towards labour,
Saying that all of that it's not full down to him.
